RFD TV
Thanks
to the good folks at the Beef Check-Off
and B&W Hitches, Baxter Black
is a regular part of the ever expanding terrain of agricultural television,
on the popular and important network, RFD-TV!
For those of you who have not already been enlightened, RFD-TV
is truly a one of a kind phenomenon
that is developing a rapidly growing viewership in urban circles. This 5 year
old network offers an eclectic schedule including; current agricultural news,
horse trading videos, Superior Livestock Auction, classic tractors, The Polka
Hour, The Cattle Show, classic country western programs.
Rising
from the ground fog of obscurity reserved for poets and former large animal
veterinarians, Baxter Black now has his own national television program, called
Baxter Black from Out There. A weekly 2.5-minute philosophical cowboy vinaigrette!
(that reruns endlessly each week) on one of the fastest-growing satellite networks
in America, RFD-TV!
For
fans of Baxter, cowboy poet and former large animal veterinarian, you now have
an opportunity to catch his wit and off-center perspective on national
television
on a regular basis.
Interspersed
between "Classic Tractors," horse training videos
and livestock auctions, Baxter
Black from Out There will give you your weekly dose of cowboy
philosophy.
For
those who have followed Baxter through his weekly column, Baxter Black On Monday
radio show, Willie's Place on XM Radio, books, irregular appearances
on NPR and the apparently endless procession of live performances nationwide,
this new television program will be like suddenly getting a color TV!
The
show is a short commentary or story about the world in which he lives…cows,
cowboys, tractors, sale barns, horse trailers and rodeo arenas every week. Trying
to follow Baxter for many has always been like living under the cloud of 20%
chance of rain. You never know when he will turn up. Now you can find him on
Dish Network, DirecTV, satellite radio, and on Media Com cable.
